On 11 May at 19:30 the enemy started began shooting from weapons of different calibers as well as from mortars and grenade launchers, thus violating the ceasefire agreement between the confronting sides. Shooting continued during the whole night.
On 11 May at around 20:00, Armen Martirosyan (born in 1996) soldier of the one of the military units of Defense Army was deadly wounded.
An investigation is underway to find out the details.
The NKR Defense Ministry shares the grief of the loss and expresses its support to the family, relatives and friends of the fallen soldier.
As a result of responsive measures taken by the Defense Army vanguard units the enemy’s activity was suppressed.
