On May 3, the RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan met with the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Ilkka Kanerva in Helsinki.
Edward Nalbandyan drew the attention of President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly to the consequences of the aggressive actions unleashed by Azerbaijan against the Republic of Artsah and the efforts of the RA and OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs aimed to overcome these.
The leader of the RA Foreign Ministry also spoke about the facts of grave violation of all the norms of Humanitarian Law by the Azeri Armed Forces. The minister added that Azerbaijan continues to ignore international calls to respect the ceasefire, and to stop violation of 1994-1995 unlimited tripartite agreements on establishment of ceasefire.
In this regard, Ilkka Kanerva noted that the use of force is unacceptable, and added the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly fully supports the efforts of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs who have the mandate of mediation.
The parties discussed a number of other issues on the OSCE Agenda. We learn this from the Sight of FM.
