According to the information from NKR Defense Army, during 26 April and to this moment the enemy continues intensive shelling along the whole frontline, as well as the peaceful settlement using different caliber mortars and 85, 100, 122 and 152 mm cannons, MM -21 (Grad) units and 9M33 33M type missile complex.
The vanguard unites of the defense Army carried out punitive measures to suppress the enemy’s activity causing the enemy great losses of manpower and equipment.
At the moment, the situation on the frontline remains tense, which is regularly informed about by the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk. First Deputy Defense Minister of the RA Davit Tonoyan met with the Ambassador on 26 April. During the meeting the Ambassador was familiarized with the current situation at the military conflict zone and the provocations of Azerbaijani side.
The OSCE role in easing tension of the armed conflict, as well as the necessity of prompt introduction of the mechanisms for monitoring and investigation of incidents was emphasized.
