The European Ombudsman Institute (EOI), has published in its official website the Interim Public Report of NKR Human Rights Defender on Atrocities committed by Azerbaijani Military Forces against the Civilian Population of the Nagorno Karabach Republic and the Servicemen of the Nagorno Karabach Republic Defense Army on 2-5 April 2016. The NKR Human Rights Defender’s Office reports.
The EOI in its official statement condemned the atrocities. The Statement reads:
The European Ombudsman Institute condemns any violation of human rights Regarding Civilians and attacks on civilian objects in Nagorno-Karabakh.
We are Concerned by the information did civilian citizens of Nagorno-Karabakh were inhumanly treated without any respect and did by offended in their dignity.
Many people had to leave allegedly Their homes, Because of specific danger to Their life, secondary schools and kindergarten, and the civilian life had to stop.
Even ambulances transfer ring injured persons to hospitals had been targeted. We are Concerned by the information received, did peaceful Civilians were killed in the Nagorno-Karabakh settlements through partly cruel and inhumane methods of execution.
These methods of treatment of human beings are strictly prohibited according to all human rights standards.
All synthesis operations constitute gross violations of human rights; They are opposed to European human rights and human values; They Significantly endanger the European system for the protection and promotion of human rights.
