The RA Ministry of Defense reports that on the night of April 18th through the morning of April 19th 18 incidents of ceasefire violation were recorded in the north-eastern part of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border. Azerbaijan opened irregular fire in the direction of the Armenian frontier guard from different caliber artillery and sniper weaponry.
The Ministry of Defense adds that the vanguard subdivisions of the RA Armed Forces exercised restraint and undertook responsive operations only in case of urgent necessity. It has also been reported that the subdivisions keep the situation on the border under full control.
