On April 5, the RA Deputy Defense Minister David Tonoyan met with ambassadors of the EU member states who are accredited in the Republic of Armenia. The Ministry of defense informs.
During the meeting the RA Deputy defense Minister familiarized the Ambassadors about the situation at the contact line of the NKR – Azerbaijan confrontation that currently exists after the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan. Davit Tonoyan noted that the conclusive evidence of the large scale military aggression are numerous corpses of soldiers and the destroyed military equipment of Azerbaijan in the Armenian side.
Ambassadors expressed their deep concern about the situation on NKR-Azerbaijani contact line and in connection with the rapidly deteriorating situation in the past 24 hours.
They also discussed possible motives of aggression and ultimate expectations of Azerbaijan from the military actions.
The RA Deputy Defense Minister drew the ambassador’s attention of the high combat readiness, firmness, as well as restrained and balanced action of the Armenian soldiers.
