On 30 March, Armen Yeritsyan, the Minister of Emergency Situations of Republic of Armenia made a number of new appointments in the system of the Ministry, at the Emergency Situations of Security Service of Rescue Department of Yerevan city, at the Center of Conducting Special Purpose Rescue Operations and the Regional Disaster Health Center, as well as in Rescue Forces Departments of ANPP, special fire detachment of Hrazdan TPP of Kotayk marz and fire rescue detachments of Aragatsotn marz. Upon other declaration of the Minister, Artur Aleksanyan, commander of Gegharkunik regional Rescue Department of RS and Koryun Pirumyan, the commander of Tavush regional Rescue Department were awarded the rank of lieutenant-colonel of Rescue Service. Gurgen Zakaryan the commander of “Nairit Factory” CJSC of Rescue Department of a special fire detachment was awarded the rank of major Rescue Service.
