The Judicial Department informs that the trial, based on the SHD/ 0072/ 01/15 criminal case against Valeri Permyakov, was postponed. It will be held on 22 January, 2016 at 12 pm.
According to the source the trial will take place in the Russian 102nd military base, 04436 military unit (address: Gyumri, Mec Berd). This place is available for the means of transportation. The public transportation is also available.
The trial is public. The admission is free. The person who wants to be present:
1. Should introduce his/her passport for entering into the territory of the Russian military base. The media representatives should also introduce a document certifying their professional activities.
2. Should be examined before entering into the Russian Military base as well as the courtroom. If some items are found which can violate people’s safety they shall be taken and kept in the special storage place.
The participants safety inside and outside the courtroom and the protection of the public order are provided by the RA Court Bailiffs Service and the police staff.
Considering the limited number of the seats in the courtroom two tents were placed, one for the representatives of media, the other for Public representatives.
Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor Office informs that despite the fact that motion introduced by A. Saqunc was denied by the Court, the Russian military representatives were not present at the courtroom.
The trial motion presented by the legal representatives of victims was also denied.
Another trial motion concerning the removing of the handcuffs from the defendant’s hands and eliminating the glass box where he was then was satisfied partially. After 30-minite-break his handcuffs were removed.
Avetisyans’ legal successors are going to introduce another motion and the trial was postponed.
