The Investigation Department of the RA Investigation Committee of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative districts of Yerevan received the criminal case initiated by the Prosecutor of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan in the connection with the fact of voting instead of another person.
On December 6, 2015, the information platform of “armlur.am” published information and a video that the journalist of “Zhoghovurd” newspaper voted instead of another person.
Pursuant to the Prosecutor’s decision on initiating a criminal case based on the factual data achieved during preparation of the material, witness that the journalists voted in 9/12 section of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative districts of Yerevan.
In the prepared materials and in this video there are evidences of apparently telling false data, introducing a false document or supporting the voting several times or instead of someone in a different way, a criminal case was initiated pursuant Article 38-153 of the RA Criminal Code.
The case was sent to the investigation department of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts for carry out a preliminary investigation.

Thus, as of 9 December 2015 the total number of cases on violations of the voting procedures during the Referendum on Constitutional Changes considered in the Investigation Committee of RA is 6.
