According to the corresponding orders of Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan during the months from October to November 2015 in order to preserve the compulsory terms and conditions of the licensing of Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in medical education a number of studies have been conducted in some private higher educational systems with the tuition of medical specialties.
As a result of the studies Armen Ashotyan has signed decrees according to which the operation of the licenses for the specialties of “Dentistry” (with a qualification degree of certified specialist) and “Jurisprudence” (Bachelor’s qualification degree) at “Navasard Institute” LLC, for the specialty of “Dentistry”(educational programs with Bachelor’s and Master’s degree) at “”Progress” University of Gyumri” production cooperative have been suspended. Besides, according to another decree of the minister the operation of the license of the specialties “Dentistry” and “Pharmacy” (with educational Master’s degree) at “Medical Institute after Mehrabyan” LLC has been suspended.
Notably, the studies continue at private universities that do not provide medical specialties.
