The employee of the “Vanadzor” Penitentiary of the RA Ministry of Justice Hamlet Q. reports that he took 1500 USD with 7 percent interest rate from another employee of the same penitentiary in March 2015. Besides, he took 500 thousand AMD with 3 percent interest rate from another employee of the same penitentiary. He paid the interest rates till 2015, after that he couldn’t pay the money. That’s way he decided to commit suicide, but it has been prevented, as his wife found his note about suicide from his pocket.
The preliminary investigation is underway.
According to Article 213, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Coder practicing usury by the employee of “Vanadzor” Penitentiary of the RA Ministry of Justice the criminal case has been accepted to the Special Investigation Service.
