SISRA: A Rescuer Sexually harassed a Minor

The preliminary investigation on the criminal case investigated in the RA Special Investigative Service revealed that on 23 May 2015, in the evening, Alik Hambardzumyan, an employee of the Special Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations, previously having been told by underage M. E. that she was a minor, satisfied his sexual desire by sexually harassing the underage girl against her will, using violence. This happened in his own car that was parked in the yard of the Rescue Service building. We got informed about this from SISRA.

According to the source, during the preliminary investigation of the criminal case A. Hambardzumyan was charged with Clause 3, Section 2, Article 139 of the RA Criminal Code. In the pre-trial proceedings the court decided to choose arrest as a measure of restraint.

After the preliminary investigation of the criminal case ended an indictment was sent to the supervising prosecutor to be approved and sent to the court.
