Citizen Anahit Z. informed that in August 2015, according to the materials on fraud prepared by the Arabkir district Investigation Department of Yerevan Investigatory Department of the RA Investigation Committee, a decision to reject the initiation of the criminal case was taken, informs SIS
According to the source, further, a familiar police officer from Kanaker-Zeyton Police Department told her that the decision was held due to his mediation and request. After that the police officer demanded and received from her a large sum of money allegedly to pass it to the investigator who made that decision.
A criminal case on abuse of the official authorities and receiving a large sum of money through fraud was initiated under the requirements of Article 178, Part 2, Point 1.1, Article 38-34-312 Part 2 and Article 34-312 Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code.
