It has been confirmed by the preliminary investigation of the criminal case considered by Investigation Service of Republic of Armenia that Police Major N. Chagharyan, who is an officer of Bazum division of Lory Regional Department of the RA Police, has committed an official fraud.
In particular, on 14 December 2014, police officer N. Chagharyan learning that citizen Simon K. had been taken to “Vanadzor” medical center with body injuries and was unconscious, did not visit him in the medical center, and made a false judicial record serving as an official document of an explanation from the citizen. Pursuant to the source, N. Chagharyan has included Simon K’s biography in the record, as well as has made a false explanation report informing that allegedly Simon K. had told him that he had received the head injury because of health deteriorating, after falling down. N. Chagharyan himself made the records and signatures on behalf of the Simon K., and attached them he prepared materials, but later it was found out that Simon K. died without regaining consciousness.
Police Major Norayr Chagharyan, an officer of Bazum division of Lory Regional Department of the RA Police, has been charged under the requirements of Article 314, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code.
The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is completed, and it was handed to the prosecutor with indictment, so as he confirm it and send to court.
