On October 19, the RA Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan conducted a sitting of Public Council adjacent to the Minister of Justice. The representatives of more than twenty NGOs participated in it. The minister greeted the members of the Public Council and mentioned that she is willing to convey a new content to the cooperation towards an open and transparent rule, taking into account the successful experience in such formats. The Ministry of Justice informs.
Arpine Hovhannisyan expressed willingness to cooperate closely with NGO representatives and stressed the fact that the successful process of different programs depends on them. Speaking about the Draft RA Law on Public Organizations which was on the agenda of the sitting, the minister mentioned that in the coming days after revision it will be sent to the RA Government.
At the sitting Deputy Ministers of Justice Arsen Mkrtchyan and Suren Qrmoyan presented the revised bill of the Draft RA Law on Public Organizations and the Draft Law on making amendments in the RA Code on Administrative Violations, and new regulations and substantiations provided by these Drafts.
The NGO representatives provided their remarks and suggestions on some provisions of the Draft. The parties reached an agreement to send the suggestions and recommendations in written to the RA Ministry of Justice.
