RA NSS Press Centre issued a statement, presented below:
“On October 16, Azerbaijani internet newspaper www.faktxeber.com published semi-literate and provocative information. This time the anti-Armenian propaganda of Azerbaijan has organized “sensational” information leakage that states they have detected and published the official writ of NSS director of the RA, Colonel-General G. Hakobyan addressed to the director of NKR National Security Service, Lieutenant-General A. Gharamyan.
Even a shallow examination of the fake letter demonstrates the illiteracy and imbecility of the authors. First of all, a wrong expression like “NKR National Security Chief” cannot be used in an official writ addressed to the director of NSS of NKR (Director of NKR National Security Service is the correct one).
The letter full of a number of spelling and syntax errors and with wrong tense usage particularly mentions that the violations of the ceasefire regime on Armenia-Azerbaijan border, death cases among soldiers, shelling of civilians and civilian facilities have caused panic, as a result of which the residents of bordering villages abandon their communities. Taking into consideration the unhealthy situation in the region, the NSS director of the RA allegedly “orders” the NKR director of NSS to conduct explanatory activities for the population and bring the panic provokers to responsibility.
It is clear for the RA citizens that the information published by Azerbaijani propaganda about the panic and migration does not correspond to reality, but vice the versa, the latest demonstrations of aggression by the adversary consolidated our citizens even more, and reinforced their aspiration to defend their country.
Authoring such a letter the Azerbaijani propaganda took the desired for reality and misled their own citizens. Trying to boast for having acquired and published information of the special services of their adversary, they were nor even able to write the text without spelling mistakes, so that the reader would not suspect the reality of the letter. Azerbaijani special service has no ability to find someone who has full competence of the Armenian language. And the fact that NSS director of the RA orders the head of special service of and independent country is already an absurd.
Strictly condemning such behavior, we advise the Azerbaijani wizards to apply to other foreign languages when publishing obviously false and illiterate information, and one again we urge the citizens of the RA to demonstrate vigilance against similar provocations in Azerbaijani websites.”
