Today, the RA President Serzh Sargsyan signed a new decree which reads:
“Governed by Parts 2 and 5 of Article 111 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia” and based on Part 6 of Article 7 of the RA Law on Referendum and the consent of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia to referendum of the Draft Constitutional Changes initiated by the President of the Republic of Armenia, I decide to:
1. Appoint the referendum on Changes of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia on 6 December 2015.
2. The decree comes into force from the day following its official publication.”
