Six prisoners had applied to the Ombudsman with request to support in the issue of grunting a short-term leave.
The Ombudsman sent a letter on the mentioned issue to the Ra ministry of justice. The Head of “Goris” penitentiary paid a personal visit to the corrective institution, where he met the prisoners and got acquainted with problems.
As a result the issue of granting a short term leave to two prisoners was solved in the period of 10 days. The Head of the penitentiary will consider the request of the other four prisoners as well and they will also be granted.
