Armenia’s response regarding the violation of cease-fire regime on Armenian-Azerbaijani border is self defense actions. The founder of the International and Comparative Law Center, Levon Gevorgyan clarifies.
Prohibition on the use of force defined in the UN Charter, which is one of the main articles of today’s international rights and defines possibility of implementing actions of proportional response,” Levon Gevorgyan says.
The latter states that Armenia must actively draw international attention and especially the UN’s attention on the rejection of Azerbaijan to keep the cease fire regime, and at the same time introduce the issue of Azerbaijani provocations to the UN discussion.
