The NKR defense army informs that on the night of 1 and to the morning of 2 March, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime on the line of contact more than 100 times, during which the enemy fired around 1200 shots from different caliber weapons, mortars, grenade launches towards Armenian positions. In the south-eastern, eastern and north-eastern directions of the line of contact Azerbaijan forces fired a total of 51 shells from “TR-107” type artillery-rocket launchers, 60 mm and 82 mm mortars, shoulder-launched, anti-tank missile and under-barrel grenade launchers.
The vanguard units of the Defense Army are fully controlling the situation in the frontline and continue conducting the reliable protection of military posts.
