“This absurd accusation is false” said defendant Armine Karapetyan in her today’s defense speech in the Court of First Instance of Erebuni and Nubarashen Communities of Yerevan.

Armine Karapetyan thinks that all this matter is the result of revenge. “Judge Grigoryan often made different acquittal verdicts, terminated the criminal proceedings and so on. The prosecutor found that my accusation is justified. But I did not expect more from him”, mentioned the defendant and then added. “In case where Alina Hovhannisyan’s son Garik Yesayan took 18 pieces of gold worth 19 thousand USD from the victim by deception and abuse and then escaped, the prosecution filed a motion of 500 thousand AMD fine as a punishment, then demanded 3 years of imprisonment for me who was charged with false accusation”, she noted.
In adfdition, he filed a motion to send about 65 telephone talks between Avetis Apian, Alina Hovhannisyan and her friend to SNS and SIS.
At the end, she asked the court to rule an acquittal verdict.
