Today, on December 1, the Court of First Instance of Erebuni and Nubarashen Communities of Yerevan, all the parties, as well as, Judge Ashot Gabrielyan were trying for three hours to find the answer to the question, why the victim on the bribe case Alina Hovhannisyan and her friends initially testified that no one asked them for a bribe and later unanimously announced they were demanded to give money.
Note, that Armine Karapetyan the assistant of the Judge of the Court of First Instance of Erebuni and Nubarashen Communities of Yerevan, was charged with the fact that she demanded a bribe of 1500 USD from Alina Hovhannisyan for appointing non-custodial penalty against her son Garik Yesayan, but she did not give her any money because she did not have it.
Alina Hovhannisyan’s friend Nona Barseghyan was questioned; the witness brought new circumstances mentioning that Alina told her she was demanded 5000 USD for her son’s adjudication but she does not have such amount of money.
After the questioning, there was a break during which the victim and the defendant quarrelled.
When the session restarted, only one issue referring to changing the testimony of the victim and her friends was discussed. The witness could not answer again, and only said that the Judge demanded money from Alina through the defendant.
