On January 15, the RA Government signed a contract on the purchase of 5000 packs of cigarettes with “Grand Dealing” Company.
1 million 450 thousand AMD was paid for the purchase of 5000 packs of “VIP Blue” cigarettes. That is the cost of 1 pack was 290 AMD. The cigarette is produced in Armenia and contains 4 mg /cig tar, 0.3 mg /cig nicotine. Each pack has 20 pieces of fine filtered cigarettes.
The purchase was made from the funds of the State Budget, and the documents lack any justification why the purchase was made.
