The Dutch Roses of the Government and the spent 2 Million AMD

On 15 January, the RA Government staff concluded purchase contract with the company “Mon Ami” Design Studio for purchase of flowers.

According to the purchase contract ,18 flower compositions were bought. The compositions were decorated with different spring flowers, roses placed in bio flora basis in round and long glass, clay pots with ruskus and bear-grass green mass and leaves. 615.600 AMD has been paid for the 18 compositions that is 34.200 AMD for each of them.

684.000 AMD has been paid for 20 bouquets, particularly 34.200 AMD for each bouquet. The bouquet was composed of Dutch colourful roses with up to one meter height and decorated with green mass and ribbons.

Also 4 flower pots decorated with different spring flowers, roses placed in bio flora basis in straw baskets and combined with ruskus and bear-grass green mass and leaves were bought. 708.000 AMD has been paid for these four baskets, particularly 177.000 AMD for each of them.

As a whole more than 2 million AMD has been paid from the state budget. And the purpose of those purchases still remain unknown. There is no justification mentioned in the purchase document.

Notably, according to the data of the Register of Legal Entities the founder of “Mon Ami” Design Studio is Edita Poghosyan.
