The conference of 2015’s first term’s operative-official activities’ summary of the Police Sections of Yerevan city administration was held by Ashot Karapetyan, the Police General-Major and the head of the department.
The best way to estimate the work is comparison. In Yerevan, during the first term of 2015, 4080 cases of crimes were registered, that is more with 109 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Crimes against economic activities increased with 54, the facts of making, keeping and using false money and documents were up with 111, that is 317 percent.
Instead, the cases of serious crimes were decreased with 193. Apartment robberies were down with 252. Crimes against a personality were up with 37, attempts to kill increased with 6, assassination cases were decreased with 1. The number of causing body injuries went down with 14, and serious body injuries- with 7.
In the accountable period of time 20 criminal groups with 45 persons done 99 crimes were found. Cases of crimes against security of public order decreased with 53, traffic accidents- with 47.
Due to operative-investigative and preventive activities 127 illegally kept firearms were confiscated. Cases of illegal circulation of drugs were reduced with 28, and the facts of usage- with 35.
The cases of crimes investigated by the employees of Criminal Investigation increased with 77, cases investigated by inspectors of municipal police – with 13, investigations by the patrol employees- ոիտհ 26. Investigated cases of crimes investigated with the help of cooperating persons increased with 41. 379 wanted were caught.
During the conference the activities of the departments and the parameters of the term were analyzed in details, referring to both the achievements and the measures of eliminating the defects.
