Shortly before, the Deputy Chief of Police, Lieutenant General Hunan Poghosyan held a speech in Baghramyan Avenue. He promised not to use force against demonstrators by police if the demonstrators will maintain the peaceful course of action and avoid provocations.
He also said that the Chief of Police may mediate at the President to meet with a group of 5 or 6 protestors. The organizers of the protest action are claiming that the meeting with the RA President should be broadcast live.
Currently the organizers of the action are discussing the offer of the Deputy Chief of Police.
