Today, a working meeting with participation of the Head of Penitentiary Department. Major General A.Osikyan and members of Penitentiary Monitoring Group took place in the Penitentiary Department of the RA.

During the meeting the parties discussed the issues of mutual interest and reached a number of agreements, specifically referring the cooperation of the rapid response group of the Penitentiary Monitoring Group and the penitentiary establishments.

The publications in mass media referring to the issues raised by the Penitentiary Monitoring Group during the past 9 months and their solutions were discussed as well.
