Today, the RA Minister of Justice Hovhannes Manukyan met with the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States, Richard Mills. The parties discussed the a number of issues of mutual interest. They specifically referred to the issues of introduction of digitization of the court cases and electronic archiving system. The RA Minister of justice introduced the importance of having such system, detailing the necessity of creation and operation of such system in the context of accessibility of the justice and public awareness. The parties also discussed the priorities of fight against corruption as well as the possibilities of cooperation with the US in publicizing the work of the Anti-Corruption Council and other issues.
The US Ambassador Richard Mills reiterated the US Government’s commitment to promote justice and human rights reforms.
