The criminal case initiated according to the assault case occurred on 2 May in Goris was received in the Investigative Division of Goris of Regional Investigative Department of Syuniq of the RA Investigative Committee. On 2 May 2015, at 21.35 Goris police department received a call from “Goris Medical Centre” telling that H.Zakaryan was taken there on the same day with “right eye injury, eyelid laceration” bodily injuries.
During the preparation of the case materials, police officers filed reports that on 2 May 2015 at approximately 16.00, H. Zakaryan had quarreled with T.Khachatyan in the central part of Goris after which they went to the Goris area called “Sdghi Gyol” where other persons had joined them. The argument had turned into a fight during which H. Zakaryan suffered a bodily injury near eye.
On May 4, the regional prosecutor’s office initiated a criminal case according to the Article 258 Part 3 on the case of hooliganism by unidentified persons in the area called “Sdghi Gyol”. The criminal case was received in the investigative division of Goris on May 5. Iravaban.net was informed by the RA Investigative Committee.
Necessary investigative measures are undertaken to ensure comprehensive, full and objective investigation of the circumstances of the case, to find out the circumstances of causing bodily injury to the victim, to identify all the persons involved in the incident.
