“Usually professional killers leave weapons, as real evidence of the crime in the place of the murder. However it does not happen always and we cannot say for sure that the murder was committed by a “contract killer”, advocate Hayk Alumyan said in the interview with Iravaban.net.
He explained that the killer leaves the weapons in the place of the murder trying to get rid of the real evidence as soon as possible. Because it they take the weapon with them or leave it in some other place, it would be likely that a few minutes later someone could see them or the police could stop him and find the crime tool.
As for the case itself, the advocate said, “It is painful for me to hear about such events, but it is especially painful when such events occur in crowded areas. We have had cases where quite innocent people have been affected during the skirmishes.”
Yesterday, as a result of shooting near “Nubarashen” peetentiary three people were killed: the criminal authority the 43-year-old Levon Ghazaryan, (known as Yerrordmastsi Lyovik), the 35-year-old Drastamat Tadevosyan (Dero), and the 30-year-old Mesrop Nazaryants.
