Advocate Norayr Norikyan wrote in his Facebook page about the actions of the police during the 31st January rally of “Founding Parliament” civil initiative.
Article 29 of NKR Law on the Police regulates the use of physical force, special means and firearms grounds by police officers as well as the conditions and limitations.
According to the above mentioned, the police officer, as an exceptional measure may use physical force, special means and firearms in cases and in the manner prescribed by this Law to the extent it is necessary to perform its duties if these duties cannot be ensured by other means.
