On 28 November, the RA Criminal Court of Appeals chaired by judge Karine Ghazaryan kept unchanged the appeal on the case of Edgar Karakeshishyan and Ashot Arushanyan, accused of theft of 56 mln and 400 000 AMD. Ashot Arushanyan`s advocate Liparit Simonyan hasn`t yet received the decision of the Court. “Whatever justifications are mentioned in the verdict, I think they will be obviously unjustified, as the verdict cannot be kept in force based on hypothesis”, stated the advocate.
He said that he would come up with a more detailed position, but one thing was clear. “It will certainly be appealed as cassation”.
