On 5 May, the opening ceremony of the 4th photo-exhibition “Freedom of Press, Right to Free Information” took place in the building of the Artists’ Union of Armenia.
This is for already 4 years since 2010 that the Freedom of Information Center in cooperation with the Delegation of European Union to Armenia and the OSCE Yerevan Office organizes the photo-exhibition “Freedom of Press, Right to Free Information.”
Levon Kirakosyan and Zakar Iskandaryan, from Iravaban.net website presented their photos as well.
According to Freedom of Information Center, the exhibition is aimed to inform about the challenges and opportunities of realization of the right to information and remind the government, media representatives and public at large about their role in realization of this right,
Around 70 photos and caricatures which then will be published in the special electronic catalog dedicated to the World Press Freedom Day were included in the photo-exhibition.
