Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction found defendant Garik A. guilty for cruel attitude towards a dog.
According to of Iravaban.net, he was charged with striking a dog multiple times in the head and back with a stick in front of his home on 29 August, 2023, around 3:30 p.m., with direct intent to cause suffering, thus causing cruel treatment towards the dog.
On 17 June, Judge Arshak Matevosyan announced the verdict, Garik A. was fined for 525 thousand AMD.
Defense attorney Karen Manukyan refused to comment on the verdict.
