The Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informs that as of 10:00, the 16-18 km section of the Yerevan-Sevan highway is open, traffic has been restored.
A partial collapse occurred in the pedestrian part of the bridge near the village of Getapnya in Ararat Marz, as a result of which the traffic on the bridge was stopped.
According to the Road Department Foundation, the Vanadzor – Alaverdi – Ayrum – Bagratashen highway is passable only for passenger cars.
Drivers are urged to bypass the M-6 on the way to the border of Georgia with the M-3 Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-RA border and M-1 Yerevan-Gyumri-RA border interstate highways.
The section of the M-4, Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-RA border highway from Dilijan to Ijevan is passable. In some areas, however, the traffic is one-way.
The bridge leading to Khashtarak and Lusahovit villages is closed both sides.
