The Council of the National Assembly convened an extraordinary session on 27 December. Alen Simonyan, the President of the National Assembly chaired the session. The National Assembly reported.
The issue of appointing a member of the Competition Board to be formed for the selection of candidates for the positions of members of the Corruption Prevention Commission was discussed.
The President of the National Assembly informed that the “Armenia” Faction nominated MP Tadevos Avetisyan, and the “Civil Agreement” Faction nominated MP Arusyak Julhakyan, for the position. “With Honor” Faction did not nominate a candidate.
According to the decision of the NA Council, “Civil Agreement” Faction MP Arusyak Julhakyan was appointed a member of the Competition Board being formed for the selection of candidates for the positions of members of the Corruption Prevention Commission.
