RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed a decree on 22 September, which states:

“Based on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, in accordance with Article 132, Part 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution and Article 14 of the Law on Diplomatic Service: To recall Yuri Babakhanyan from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of India, the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.”
