The statement spread by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan that allegedly the units of the Defense Forces opened fire on 18 September around 23:50 at the direction of the Azerbaijani positions located in the occupied territories of the Askeran region of the Republic of Artsakh does not correspond to reality.
