From 24 August until now, the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body received 70 calls from the National Crisis Management Center of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding the burning of vegetation. The Inspection Body reported.

Administrative proceedings were initiated in all cases in the Inspection Body, within the framework of which the identified offenders were subjected to administrative liability in the amount of AMD 50,000 – 300,000.

Let’s remind that the burning of vegetation and agricultural ditches contributes to the loss of quality properties of the soil, the destruction of flora and fauna and the pollution of water resources and atmospheric air.

Once again, the EPMIB urges to refrain from attempts to burn the vegetation, which can cause unpredictable consequences.
