RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed a decree on the appointment on 4 September.
“Based on the recommendation of the Prime Minister in accordance with Article 132, Part 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution as well as Article 13, Part 3 and Article 14 of the Law on Diplomatic Service:
To appoint Tigran BALAYAN as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of the Representation of the Republic of Armenia in the European Union (residence: Brussels).
