On April 17, another lawsuit regarding the confiscation of property of illegal origin was admitted to the proceedings of the Anti-Corruption Court.
The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’ Office, filed a request to the court for confiscation of property of illicit origin from RA citizen, ophthalmologist A.S. and his related persons in favor of the Republic of Armenia.
- 4 immovable properties in the city of Yerevan, 8 movable properties, and in case of impossibility, their average market values, which total more than 606 million 102 thousand 500 AMD,
- 9 million 912 thousand 752 AMD as the balance of illicit income and funds,
- Amount of 386 million 919 thousand 865 AMD, which during the period 1996-2022 was not justified by the legal income of the person, has an illicit origin, was transferred to a bona fide acquirer or cannot be identified and confiscated.
