President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed a decree on amnesty petitions on 21 November, 2022.
The decision specifically states:
“Grant pardon to Grigor Serzhik Stepanyan, who was sentenced on 25 June, 2021 by the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan City, under the first part of Article 243.1 of the RA Criminal Code, with a fine of 200,000 drams and with the deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of one year. Gagik Stepanyan should be freed from the main punishment, a fine of 200,000 drams.”
According to the same decree of the President, 16 convicts were not pardoned.
