Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a decision on 5 October, which states:
“Guided by Article 9, Part 16 of the Law on Public Service and Article 166 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia:
- Recall Karen Andreasyan, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, from her annual leave from 5 October, 2022.”
It should be noted that by another decision of the Prime Minister, Deputy Minister of Justice Yeranuhi Tumanyants was reliesed from her position.
Notably, the Secretary of the NA “Civil Contract” Faction Artur Hovhannisyan announced that Karen Andreasyan and Yeranuhi Tumanyants were nominated by the RA NA “Civil Contract” Faction as candidates for the members of the Supreme Judicial Council.
