Carbon monoxide gas poisoning in Stepanakert: one of the victims is in the resuscitation department

On 20 March, at 2:20 pm, a report was received from the Republican Medical Center CJSC that on the same day, at 2:10 pm, 71-year-old N.H. and 30-year-old M. P, residents of Stepanakert, were admitted with carbon monoxide poisoning, and at 14:20 a 53-year-old resident of the same address, M. H.

The Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Artsakh Republic informs that inspector H. Adamyan found out that the mentioned persons had received the poisoning on the same day at around 13:40 as a result of emission of carbon monoxide from the gas water heater installed in the bathroom of their house.

Two of them are in good health, and N.H. was taken to the intensive care unit and is under medical supervision.

The police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs urges to always follow the rules of safe use of natural gas, especially during the heating period, and in case of any problem with the gas consumption system or gas appliances, immediately contact the 24-hour emergency service at 1-04.
