As expected, the new Omicron strain of Covid-19 is highly contagious in Armenia. The National Center for Infectious Diseases reported.

“Omicron” is manifested by symptoms typical of seasonal flu, acute respiratory infections:

Dry cough and sore throat.

Nasal congestion or nasal production.

Weakness.

Headaches.

Increase of body temperature up to 38 °, sometimes higher.

Back pain.

In the tense epidemic situation in the country, it is necessary to be vigilant, follow the anti-epidemic rules, and in case of the first symptoms, consult a local doctor to detect the disease early to avoid further complications.

And, of course, do not forget to get vaccinated.

Studies have shown that the booster dose provides a high level of protection, including in the case of the Omicron strain.

The stimulant vaccine prevents the severe course of the disease, reduces the risk of hospitalization and death.
