At today’s sitting of the Government, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the situation with the coronavirus in Armenia is extremely tense.
Anahit Avanesyan said that 15,818 tests were carried out yesterday, of which 2,307 were positive, 38 deaths were registered.
“Currently, 27 medical centers are mobilized in Armenia, which serve patients infected with coronavirus. 3050 beds are occupied at the moment, we have 1,088 citizens in critical condition, 307 are in extremely serious condition, 152 citizens are connected to lung ventilation devices,” Avanesyan said.
She said 122 pregnant women are currently hospitalized, 53 of whom have pneumonia and they oxygen dependent.
