The Hydrometrological and Monitoring Center informs that snowfall was observed in a number of regions of the republic last night.

Snowfalls were observed in Shirak, in the foothills of Lori and Tavush, in the mountainous areas of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, in Gegharkunik, in the mountainous zones of Vayots Dzor, in the mountainous and foothill regions of Syunik.

At the moment, the precipitation has stopped in most of the regions; there is snow only in the mountainous and foothill zone of Syunik. In the afternoon, the precipitation will stop in Syunik as well.

The air temperature dropped by 4-7 degrees in the whole territory of the republic last night. The air temperature is expected to decrease by 3-5 degrees during the coming night, but no precipitation is forecast in the whole territory of the republic for the next 3 days.
