The Draft Law “On Making Amendments to the Law on Passport of a Citizen of the Republic of Armenia” and “On Making Amendments to the Law on Identification Cards” is included in the agenda of the Government.
The drafts envisage extending the term of issuance of passports provided by the RA Government Decision No. 821 of December 25, 1998, defined by the RA “On RA Passport” and “On Identification Cards”, setting it until December 31, 2022 instead of January 1, 2022, in order to guarantee the right of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia to have an identity document.
