A fire broke out in the village of Agarak, Syunik region, in the section on the border with Azerbaijan, 10 hectares of vegetation burned: MES

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that on 10 August, at 16:00, the Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center received information that the fire that broke out in the border section of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Agarak village, Syunik region, was extinguished.

About 10 hectares of vegetation burned.

It should be reminded that on 8 August, at 5:27 pm, the Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center received information that a fire had broken out in the border part of Agarak village and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

A fire brigade from the fire-rescue detachment of the regional rescue department of the Emergency Situations Ministry left for the scene.

It turned out that 6 hectares of vegetation was burning, 4 hectares of which were on the Armenian side.

The fire was isolated on 9 August, at 07:15, extinguished at 08:05. About 6 hectares of vegetation burned.

On 9 August, at 13:02, the Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center received an alarm that another fire had broken out in the border village of Agarak and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Three fire brigades from the fire-rescue detachment of the regional rescue department of the Emergency Situations Ministry and one water carrier of “Azhdanak” LLC left for the scene.

The fire was isolated at 21:23.

At 21:33 the firefighting works were stopped due to darkness: Duty has been set.
