“Thank you, Belgium. The Belgian Parliament has recognized the Yezidi Genocide. In a resolution recognizing the Yezidi Genocide, Belgium called on the Yezidi people to return to their homeland and participate in the reconstruction of the country. The unanimously adopted resolution states that the Parliament condemns the “genocide committed by the terrorists of the ” Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham ” against the Yezidis in Iraq since 2014.
